Background
This is the oldest vacuum cleaner manufacturer in the world. Their products include uprights, stick vacs, canister vacs, hand vacs, and carpet shampooers. These products are sold through all the major retailers.

Problem
Products returned under warranty are totally refurbished and sold as such to discount retailers. The vacuums get completely disassembled and cleaned to look like new. For cleaning, they had a team of workers to scrub the parts by hand. They badly needed an automated parts cleaning system.

Solution / System
Special baskets were designed to hold the myriad of parts (handles, hoses, housings, etc...) in the desired orientations. The customer then bought two conveyor washers for two different tear down lines. Both washers were C-24-S5/S3/FR/DH units...these belt washers have 24" wide conveyor belts and four modules for a wash, rinse, fresh rinse, dry sequence. Each capable of washing 550 vacuum cores per shift.
