Background
This customer is a division of one of the top three largest automobile manufacturers in the world. They wholesale new motor vehicle parts and supplies.

Problem
They were removing chips and oils from engine cases. The challenge was to wash and dry the parts completely, no collective moisture, within a given time and still maintain an ambient surface temperature at the end of the cycle.

Solution / System
Two F-5000-LX-P-SS Purifier systems, with 50” dia. turntables and 60” inside vertical clearance. A custom fixture was designed to hold the cases vertically. This allowed the cases to pass through a spray manifold with nozzles positioned on three sides. The part was blasting with water from all sides, reaching and cleaning all blind spots. In order to reach and maintain a surface temperature between 83 °F - 91° F, chilled water was run through the blower to cool parts after the dry cycle.
