Background
This customer is a division of one of the top three largest automobile manufacturers in the world. They wholesale new motor vehicle parts and supplies.

Problem
They were removing chips and oils from valve bodies (with and without adapter plates) and converter housings. The challenge was to wash and dry the parts completely, no collective moisture, within a given time and still maintain an ambient surface temperature at the end of the cycle.

Solution / System
Five F-4000-P-SS Purifier systems, with 40” dia. turntables. Custom fixtures were designed to maintain the optimal position of each part for thorough washing and drying. Chilled water was run through the blower to cool parts after the dry cycle so they would reach and maintain a surface temperature between 83 °F - 91° F.
