Background
This is a division of the world’s largest professional
dental products manufacturer. This particular division
produces cements, composite resins, impression materials
and light curing units. Problem
Dental mold material is contained in covered plastic
tubs. It is important to clean them before refilling.
Until now, the customer was hand cleaning which was
a time consuming and difficult process. They needed
a more efficient method to wash one container every
30 minutes.
Solution/System(s)
The customer bought two turntable style systems....an
F-3000 with a standard pump to remove lighter
resins and an F-4000 with a high pressure pump
for harder resins. These units had the same "hoop"
type fixture that elevated the tubs off the turntables.
This allows the tubs to rotate in cycle while
a stationary ID manifold scours the inner walls
of the container.
