Background
This global company was originally founded to produce
aluminum. Today, they are not only a leader in aluminum
production but offer a wide range of aluminum products
including automotive structural components.
Problem
The customer needed to wash and dry a complex aluminum
weldment prior to shipment. They needed to remove weld
smut and light oils. The customer also wanted a system
that could be loaded and unloaded by the same operator.
Solution/System
A C-18-S2/ DA belt washer with a special return
conveyor and elevated load height. This conveyor
washer is all stainless steel and has wash and
dry modules.
