Background
This company is a metal stamping operation that specializes in complex parts and larger parts that require heavy tonnage.

Problem
In the past, they could simply press the parts and ship them. Now, many customers are demanding that the stampings are cleaned prior to shipment. This raised many questions including: a) how do they “squeeze-in” a washer in front of their high speed press(s), and b) do they buy a washer for each press or can they move the washer from press to press when needed?

Solution / System
Design a compact 3-stage C-14-S2/S2/DH conveyor washer so it is configured into an “L” shape to reduce the overall length. Then make the system portable by putting the 2 sections on wheels by making all the utility lines “quick connect.”
