This company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of automatic door systems, controls and components. The plant in question makes hydraulic door closures.

Problem
The cylinders for the door closures need to be clean and dry before entering the powder coating line. Their current cleaning system wasn’t getting the job done. A team of 5-10 workers had to hand wipe the parts before they got painted.

Solution / System A state-of-the-art monorail washer (M-24-S3/S3/CD/DH) that has the power, the fixturing and application specific design features to get the parts completely clean and dry. The system has four (4) stages...wash, rinse, blow-off and dry. The parts are now conveyed directly to powder coating...hand wiping is no longer required.
