Background
This company makes a variety of components for autos and trucks including "twist beams" which are the parts involved in this application. These parts connect a car's rear wheels to the frame.

Problem
Design a washer that meets the following criteria: a) handle four (4) parts that are quite different, b) clean and dry the tubes inside and out, c) integrate with robots for loading and unloading, and d) outputs 1 part every 10 seconds.

Solution/System
A C-48-S3/ S3/ DH conveyor system with wash , rinse, and dry stages. This unit has a parallel chain conveyor with "V" block fixtures to hold the tubes in a precise position. The conveyor indexes for the robotic hand-offs. At the spray and dry stations, nozzles blast into the tube openings.
