BACKGROUND
This company is a manufacturer of custom and standard aluminum extrusions and ranks among the top 10 extruder companies in the U.S. They offer a wide array of parts for aerospace, computer technology, transportation, etc.
PROBLEM
The parts in question are aluminum extrusions used in producing plotter frames. They had previously been cleaning these parts using an immersion tank on their anodizing line. However, this method was tying up their anodizing line and was simply not effective. They needed an off-line system that could better clean/dry the channel ways running the length of the extrusions.
 SOLUTION/SYSTEM
BE convinced the customer to fixture the parts vertically... in this position, you can blast water and air into the extrusions from the top, thoroughly cleaning and drying the channel ways. An F-4000LX-P jet washer will perfectly wash, rinse, and dry 36 extrusions every ten (10) minutes.
