Background
This company manufactures valve train components for the car racing industry: rocker systems, lifters, belt drives, and push rods. If you are into the Nascar or NHRA circuits or 24 hour endurance racing, these are the parts you want.
Problem
This growing company has a pristine plant complete with a full gymnasium and saunas. Their cleaning systems, however, were lagging behind. They were using small batch washers (some used solvent and some were water-based)....they needed a more automated system and better part flow.
Solution
After machining, the parts get racked into baskets supplied by BE. The baskets are sent down stream via a conveyor belt. The baskets automatically transition onto the belt of a Better Engineering conveyor washer where they go through a four (4) stage, wash/rinse/rust inhibit/ dry process. Upon exiting the system, the baskets fall onto a gravity conveyor and queue-up for unloading.
System
A C-14 Cyber-Jet system with a 14" wide conveyor belt: four (4) modules [three (3) spray modules and a heated drying module], each module has a hinged canopy for full access, all stainless construction, the outside of the system is fully insulated and has a natural stainless finish.
