Description
As part of Better Engineering’s modular ImmersoSonic line, the S-32 can be configured with multiple process stages and automation options to match your production requirements. Systems can be integrated with tank-to-tank basket indexing, walking beam transfer, overhead gantry systems, robotic loading and unloading, basket rotation, and powered conveyors.
The S-32 is especially well-suited for parts with blind holes, threads, internal passages, recesses, and intricate geometries where spray-only cleaning may not provide complete coverage. Each system is engineered around your specific parts, soils, cleanliness requirements, production volume, and available floor space, giving you a compact, flexible cleaning solution that can scale as your process evolves.
Modular Ultrasonic Cleaning System
The S-32 product line is designed around Better Engineering’s modular ImmersoSonic platform. Systems can be configured with heated wash tanks, ambient or heated rinse tanks, ultrasonic cleaning stages, filtration, oil removal, and drying modules in the sequence your process requires. Typical S-32 configurations may include:
- S-32-HT: Heated immersion cleaning module with a 200-gallon tank, 24 kW electric heat, powered platform oscillation, and optional ultrasonic cleaning. Features a 32″ x 24″ powered platform with an immersion depth of up to 14″.
- S-32-CT: Ambient-temperature immersion cleaning module with a 200-gallon tank, powered platform oscillation, and no heat. Features a 32″ x 24″ powered platform with an immersion depth of up to 14″.
- S-32-DH: Heated drying module with recirculated air, powered platform oscillation, and an 18 kW air heat system. Features a 32″ x 24″ powered platform and accommodates work heights up to 14″.
Whether your application requires a single heated ultrasonic washer or a complete wash-rinse-dry cleaning line, the S-32 can be engineered around your part size, soils, throughput, and floor space.
Immersion, Agitation & Ultrasonic Cleaning
The ImmersoSonic S-32 industrial immersion part washer is built to clean more than simple exterior surfaces. Parts are loaded into baskets or fixtures and submerged in an aqueous cleaning solution. Powered platform oscillation moves the load vertically through the bath, improving solution exchange and helping dislodge contamination.
For demanding precision cleaning applications, optional ultrasonic technology adds high-frequency cavitation to the immersion stage. This ultrasonic cleaning action helps reach small crevices, blind holes, internal features, threads, and detailed surfaces that conventional cleaning methods can miss.
Optional turbulation, filtration, oil skimming, and oil-water coalescing systems can be added to help maintain bath quality and reduce the risk of contamination redepositing on cleaned parts.
Precision Cleaning Applications
The S-32 ultrasonic cleaning system is a strong fit for manufacturers that need repeatable cleaning results on medium-sized industrial components or larger baskets of small parts. Common applications include:
- Precision-machined parts
- Automotive and EV components
- Aerospace components
- Valves, fittings, and manifolds
- Pump and fluid-handling components
- Castings and housings
- Fuel system components
- Production parts with threads, ports, and internal passages
Why Choose the ImmersoSonic S-32?
- Greater cleaning capacity: The S-32 provides a larger ImmersoSonic platform for applications that need more working room than smaller ultrasonic parts washers.
- Enhanced cleaning performance: Powered platform agitation moves parts through fresh cleaning solution for better contact and more consistent cleaning than static soaking.
- Access to complex geometries: Optional ultrasonic cleaning helps remove contamination from blind holes, threads, internal passages, and recessed features.
- Reduced redeposition: Filtration, oil skimming, oil-water coalescing, and contamination control options help keep soils away from cleaned parts.
- Flexible module sequencing: Combine heated wash, rinse, ultrasonic cleaning, filtration, oil removal, and drying stages in the order your process requires.
- Built for industrial use: Stainless steel construction, powered lids, industrial controls, and rugged system options support demanding manufacturing environments.
- Expandable modular design: Add wash, rinse, ultrasonic, drying, or automation features as production requirements evolve.
