EVERY ANGLE. EVERY PASSAGE. EVERY CYCLE.

The Cyclojet rotary basket parts washer is designed for parts that require more than fixed-position spray cleaning. Complex components often have threads, cavities, recesses, blind holes, cross-drilled passages, and nested features that can trap oils, chips, fines, coolants, and other manufacturing debris.

By rotating the part or basket throughout the cleaning cycle, the Cyclojet continually changes how each surface is exposed to the cleaning process. Small durable parts can be cleaned in covered baskets with controlled tumbling action, while larger, delicate, or high-value components can be secured in custom racks or fixtures for more controlled movement.

This combination of rotation, spray washing, immersion, optional ultrasonics, rinsing, blow-off, and drying helps improve cleaning coverage on complex geometries while delivering a repeatable automated process tailored to the part, contamination, and required cleanliness level.

ONE SYSTEM. DIFFERENT PARTS.

From bulk fasteners to delicate precision components, rotary basket washers let you clean parts the right way, not just the standard way. Each system is configured around how the part moves, how it’s protected, and the process stages needed to reach your cleanliness target.

Flexible Part Movement & Fixturing

Not every component should move the same way during cleaning. That is what makes the Cyclojet rotary basket parts washer so effective for mixed part families, complex geometries, and varying cleanliness requirements.

Small, durable components can be loaded into covered baskets where controlled rotation creates a gentle tumbling action. This continually changes the parts’ position, helping expose additional surfaces, edges, recesses, and cavities to the cleaning process.

Parts that should not tumble against one another can be secured in custom racks or fixtures. Instead of allowing part-on-part contact, the fixture rotates through the cycle, changing the component’s orientation while controlling movement and protecting critical surfaces.

Cyclojet can also accommodate customer-supplied baskets, larger baskets, standard Kadon baskets, or application-specific fixtures, giving manufacturers the flexibility to configure the rotary basket parts washer around existing production flow, part handling requirements, and cleaning goals.

ROTARY BASKET PARTS WASHER FAQS

A rotary basket parts washer is an automated batch cleaning system that rotates components inside baskets or fixtures during the cleaning cycle. Rotation continually changes part orientation, helping expose different surfaces and features to spray, immersion, rinsing, blow-off, and drying.

Cyclojet can process small bulk parts, fasteners, machined components, bearings, gears, shafts, housings, stampings, castings, forgings, and precision components. Parts can tumble inside covered baskets or be secured in fixtures when you need to control part-on-part contact.

Both systems can create tumbling action, but they handle production differently. A drum washer continuously advances bulk components through the machine using a rotating drum and internal helix. A rotary basket washer processes controlled batches inside individual baskets or fixtures, allowing greater flexibility in part handling and cleaning sequences.

Ultrasonic cleaning is available as part of the Cyclojet process. Spray, immersion, and ultrasonic stages can operate independently and be sequenced according to the application’s cleaning requirements.

Standard Cyclojet configurations include CJ-2, CJ-4, CJ-6, and CJ-8 systems for two, four, six, or eight baskets or fixtures. Expanded configurations are also available for applications requiring additional capacity.

Yes. Cyclojet is specifically suited to components with complex features such as blind holes, threads, recesses, internal cavities, and cross-drilled passages. You can combine rotation, immersion, spray, and optional ultrasonic cleaning to improve access to these features.

Yes. You can secure components that should not tumble against one another in custom racks or fixtures. The fixture then rotates through the cleaning process while controlling part movement.

Yes. Cyclojet can combine wash, immersion, ultrasonic cleaning, recirculated or fresh rinsing, blow-off, and heated drying within an automated cycle.

Yes. Systems can be integrated with robotic loading and unloading, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment for automated production environments.

NOT SURE HOW YOUR PART SHOULD MOVE THROUGH THE CLEANING PROCESS?

Part geometry, sensitivity to part-on-part contact, contamination, cleanliness requirements, basket capacity, and production volume all influence the right Cyclojet configuration. Send us your parts and process requirements, and we’ll test the application to determine the required basket or fixture, cleaning stages, and cycle.
