Description

Corrosion Protection for Aqueous Parts Washing

Parts cleaned in aqueous systems can be left vulnerable to flash rust once oils and protective residues are removed. RPA-445 is an amine-based rust inhibitor added directly to wash solution to provide a protective barrier against corrosion, helping protect both the parts being cleaned and washer equipment constructed of mild steel.

Multi-Metal Safe Chemistry

RPA-445 is compatible with aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, iron, steel, and composites, as well as most precious metals, plastics, and rubbers.

Best Fit Applications

Application Why It Fits
Mild steel parts Helps prevent flash rust after cleaning
Mild steel washer equipment Helps protect machine components from corrosion
Amine-compatible detergent systems Designed for use with amine-based detergent chemistry, confirm compatibility before use
Multi-metal loads Compatible with a wide range of metals and other materials
