CUSTOM PARTS CLEANING SYSTEMS

CUSTOM CABINET PARTS WASHERS

When the part doesn’t fit the machine, engineer the machine around the part. Better Engineering custom cabinet parts washers are built around your component size, weight, geometry, contamination, cleaning requirements, material handling, and production process.

WHERE STANDARD WASHERS STOP, CUSTOM BEGINS.

For critical components, looking clean isn’t enough. Residual particulate, oils, films, cleaning chemistry, or moisture can interfere with assembly, coating, bonding, inspection, or finished-component performance.

Ultima precision parts washers are designed for applications that require greater control and repeatability. Dedicated high-volume wash and rinse tanks separate process solutions, while a steeply sloped carriage tray helps drain solution between stages and reduce carryover.

All wetted components, including the pumps, are constructed from 304 stainless steel. Standard Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI controls manage the cleaning sequence and critical cycle parameters.

From aerospace and automotive to medical devices and semiconductor manufacturing, Ultima provides a configurable platform for precision parts cleaning where the required result extends beyond basic soil removal.

YOUR PART SETS THE PARAMETERS.

Size, weight, geometry, contamination, cleanliness requirements, and production flow determine how to clean a part. Start with the application, then engineer the equipment around it.

ENGINEERED AROUND YOUR PART AND YOUR PROCESS

A larger pump does not automatically solve a difficult cleaning problem. Part geometry decides whether the cleaning solution reaches the surfaces that matter, and the next operation decides how clean those surfaces need to be.

Spray & fixturing: For parts with internal cavities, recessed features, shadowed surfaces, or critical areas, the washer can be built around how the cleaning solution needs to reach and move across the component. Options include custom spray manifolds, oscillating or retractable spray systems, dedicated nozzles and application-specific fixtures that hold the part in the same position every cycle.

Process configuration: Parts headed for inspection, coating, assembly, repair, or remanufacturing may need different levels of soil removal, rinsing, residue control, and drying. A custom system can combine the stages your application needs:

  • High-impact aqueous washing
  • Dedicated rinsing
  • Phosphating
  • Passivation
  • Multi-stage processing
  • Blow-off
  • Heated drying
  • Enhanced particulate filtration
  • Oil separation
  • Programmable process controls

Every stage is there because your cleanliness requirements and downstream operation call for it, not just because it’s available.

CUSTOM CABINET PARTS WASHER FAQS

A custom cabinet parts washer may be appropriate when the component exceeds standard machine dimensions or load capacities, has difficult geometry, requires specialized spray coverage or fixturing, needs additional cleaning stages, or must integrate with a specific material-handling or production process.

Better Engineering currently identifies custom cabinet capabilities including turntables up to 200 inches in diameter and working heights up to 240  inches. Final machine dimensions depend on the component, loading method, cleaning process, and facility requirements.

Custom systems can be engineered for load capacities up to 50,000 pounds depending on the application. Structural requirements, turntable design, loading method, and machine configuration are determined around the actual component and process.

Yes. A custom turntable parts washer can incorporate application-specific spray manifolds, nozzle placement, oscillating or retractable spray systems, and custom fixtures to improve cleaning access around complex part geometry.

Yes. Custom cabinet systems can incorporate washing, dedicated rinsing, multi-stage cleaning, blow-off, heated drying, filtration, oil separation, and other process features based on the required cleaning result.

Yes. Material handling and controls can be designed around cranes, hoists, carts, custom fixtures, robotic loading, and other automated production equipment.

Yes. Application testing can help determine the combination of chemistry, temperature, mechanical action, cycle time, rinsing, and drying needed to achieve the required cleaning result. Those findings can then help develop the equipment configuration.

A standard cabinet washer starts with an established machine platform and available configurations. A custom industrial parts washer is engineered when part dimensions, weight, geometry, cleaning requirements, process stages, material handling, or facility constraints require a system outside those standard parameters.
