Hygienic Slat & Turntable Washers

Specifically Designed to Prevent Cross-Contamination

Better Engineering’s sanitary turntable washers are batch-operation machines built to the highest hygienic standards with industry-leading capabilities.

Sanitizing WAshers

These units are generally in compliance with 3-A general guidelines for sanitary designs. Our turntable and slat washers are purpose-built for cleaning and sanitizing slats, trays, buckets, and pans used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Standard units are equipped with a 40″ diameter turntable and 40″ inside vertical clearance (IVC). They are installed above ground with minimal site preparation. The roll-in door exposes a portion of the turntable for the operator’s ergonomic loading of larger-volume containers.

Two styles of cabinet doors are available, roll-in door or vertical lift door:

Roll-In Door

The door rolls into the cleaning chamber, thereby minimizing the overall footprint

Vertical Lift Door

Two (2) pneumatic cylinders actuate the door vertically upwards to provide full access to the turntable and wash chamber clean-out

Standard cycles are non-recirculated to reduce cross-contamination and uphold cleaning efficacy. Optional holding tanks can allow recirculation to conserve detergent, heat, and water while retaining cleanliness in the working tank. Additionally, the system features an automatic self-cleaning sequence to prevent cross-contamination between cycles further.
